i'm currently using DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink. i have no trouble
with DVD Decrypter, but when i want to shrink the file with DVD Shrink there's a message that pops up when i try to open the movie file "DVD Shrink encountered a problem and cannot continue.
Invalid data in file "than in here is my file name"
Overlapped I/O operation is in progress"
    any help is appreciated.

It sounds like DVD Decrypter may have skipped a file during the rip. This file may have been a bad sector on your source disc. You have a couple of options here...rerip with DVD Decrypter in file mode and make sure to select all files. When it plays that catchy little tune, make sure that the pop-up window, under skipped says 0. Or try to rip the movie with DVD Shrink.

By the way what is the name of the movie?

sounds like a disk produced with ARccOS protection. try using dvd decrypter and pcgedit or vob blanker

OR, you could have Enable overlapped I/O checked in your Shrink settings. Un-check that, and your overlapped I/O problem should go away. It's in the File I/O section of shrink.

Here is the thread where i found that problem happening to me:

Someone posted a thread a while back say to check that box and it would increase ripping speed significantly. I re-checked that box on my system, and it hasn't given me any problems (last couple of months). Maybe it was my system configuration before that caused the problem. The speed increase is not that great, so if you get that overlapped I/O error, you can uncheck it in shrink, and suffer no great loss in speed. It works on some systems, and on others it stops Shrink cold in it's tracks. Good luck, and happy burning to all.
