P$ You will get that joke as I am a AMD user and look at your 4 key and what is above it. All jokes aside a P4 is better because it will not restrict the lines of data flow like the celeron does. Intel made the celeron for people that wanted something new but couldn't afford the technology of a P4 there for its performance is less. In my personal opnion buy an AMD and you will get better performance at a lower cost. Or spend the same amout of money on a much better processor through AMD.

tocool4u, nobodies name is in red at the present momment.

wagsdadog, the difference between a true p4 & a p4 celeron is the amount of ram cache on the cpu.

@wagsdadog: A Celeron is a boat anchor, plain and simple. It is a dummied down P4.

yea P4 is better. From what i heard is that basically it is P4 but a part of the chip is disabled thus making it a celeron

wagsdadog, you can put the same amount of upgrades on a p4 as you can a celeron. also a celeron is cheaper than a true p4, sometimes by half.

Yea as Ddp said......The size of the motherboard and case is what you want to look for if you want to upgrade alot
