Ok well this is my situation.. my computer is by no means new, its pretty old but still serves me well for what i use it for, except for the USB 1.1 thing. My motherboard comes with two USB 1.1 ports. But i wish to purchase a USB 2 card for obvious reasons! What i want to know is whether my motherboard and a USB 2 Card are supportive of eachother, or will its purchase be a waste of time because my motherboard (being so old) wont transfer at the USB 2 speeds?
