i have done what was asked and checked all the forums on burning pain killer!

and i have also tried numerous programs(alcohol120,blindwrite5,fireburner etc.

ok so i have 3.cue files and 3.bin files which according to a-ray scanner are safedisk 3.20 protected!

i converted disk 1 first as it is the instalation file(to mdf file 700ish mb and an mds file 1kb???) dont know what the 2 files are for!

anyway burned it with alcohol and blindwrite 5 successfully!

    1 disk doesnt auto run
2 when i double click on the setup icon it starts as should, asks for cd key and starts installing, BUT stops at the model pak file every time

please help as i have really tried hard

    thabks in hope

    Hi,

Wouldn't it be easier to just go through the whole rip/burn process with the original and either A120 or BW5 instead of working with three separate bin/cues?

I made a perfectly good working copy of Painkiller using BW5 :)

great Idea, However as I am a self confessed noob at this, the reason i have the .bin and .cue files is simple!

I tried to back up the cd before but didnt have 120 or bw to override copy protoction so these files just sat on my p.c for a couple of weeks!

Then the inevitable happened, My little daughter who loves cd's used it as a frizbee (the reason why i wanted to back it up) £40 game and now i can only play it with a virtual drive and the .cue/.bin files

    You see my prodicament

    Please help
