I have several pal dvds , but i cant watch them on my tv.. My dvd player wont play them... Anyone know how i can play them , or how to change them to Ntsc ... I know Nero vision express can do it , but it takes a long time , it tends to have errors .. and i think i will lose the menus and chapters . Anyone know a better way ?
The "easiest" way may be to get a DVD Player that plays both PAL and NTSC. You can do conversions but if you find a DVD player that does both PAL and NTSC and is also "all region" then you can just buy DVDs and play them. Much simpler. I like foreign films so I buy DVDs other than Region 1 and the ocassional PAL disc. I have a Philips 724 and it plays them on an NTSC TV. Now you can get DVD players that handle nearly any format for less than $70 so why spend $100 for video software unless you have other use for it? If you look on www.videohelp.com it has a database of the various players and what formats they can really handle.
