Look, I know this has been asked many many times but with so many ways, I really have no idea what is the best method now. I'd like to convert a folder of dvd files from PAL to NTSC. I have Procoder 3 but it doesn't keep the menu. What are the best programs for PAL to NTSC conversion in terms of quality? Thank you.

The process is OK if the menu is static (only frame size 720x560 PAL, 720x480 NTSC). In case of motion menu, you have the same problem as with main movie, frame rate and frame size.
To do that you will have to re author DVD or do lots of other steps to convert menu.
These dayes it is cheaper and easier to buy a player (less than $40) to play PAL disc on NTSC TV.
I have been there and done that too.

That is a cogent point - and I do have a player that accepts PAL disks - but since my player is Region 1 only (no hack) my PAL disks still have to be ripped.
I don't have any PAL DVD's with dynamic menus - so I'm no help there.
