I have searched the forum and cant really find an answer to this: How do I convert Pal to NTSC with Nero 7 ? Thanks in advance and sorry in advance if I get a torrent of "this topic has already been covered" posts.
do you have nero recode? if so, then you can remake a dvd and specify the output format to pal....in the configurations tools at the bottom.
Thanks for that, but when I look at the configuration options in Recode it doesnt offer the pal/Ntsc option. However when I open Nero Vision 4 I have this option. If I change the option to NTSC here will it alter the way Recode encodes?
the easiest way to convert pal to ntsc or vice versa is to use nero vision.once you have added your video files to your project you just have to click on the more options button on the bottom of the screen.then hit video options & you will get a menu where you can choose pal or ntsc.it takes a bit longer than nero recode to convert but the upside is you can choose to put chapters or your own backrounds to it.very handy if you are converting a file that has none already.nero vision will convert avi files or divx files to pal or ntsc as well.
i just tried nero..."make or modify dvd-video(VR).... in nerovision... make dvd. then "import disc" forvideo output put NTSC. i had no problem converting from pal.
hello...i know that this is primarily regarding Nero, but there is also another software program that is very helpful in swapping over AVI, DIVX, etc. to DVD format and from PAL to NTSC and vice versa...it's "Super DVD Creator 8.5" it's really a program you are supposed to buy but they have trial versions available for download...here's a link if interested http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Super_DVD_Creator/1057268626/1 i have both Nero and dvd creator and if i have trouble with NERO i swap over to DVD creator and vice versa...just my two cents, holla @cadderly...that name isn't from an R.A. Salvatore book is it?
Indeed it is .It's from the cleric quintet series by r.a. salvatore.Highly recomended reading material.
i agree with you on that book...great read, especially the last book(sorry didn't mean to hijack the thread)
