PAL to Region Free

    I'm trying to make my Region 2 dvd region free so that I can watch it on my region 1 PS2. I ripped with DVD Decryptor, processed with IFOedit and clicked the "region free" button on IFOedit, and have burned to a DVD-R using Nero. Am I missing something?

    Yeah, you need to change the frame rate in tmpeg to ntsc(something like 29.997 fps) or else it will not play on you region 1 ps2. This is also a problem on some dvd players but if you choose an inexpensive one(based off a standard dvd-rom) you may be able to display PAL on your tv and thus only need to make the dvd region free unless your dvd player is modded as mine is...

    will TMPGEnc recognize vob files, or do I have to convert the vob's to mpeg or avi?
