Hi guys just wondering which would be the better buy? I live in Australia(damned pal territory) and I'm gonna buy a wii and wiikey it up! I have access to buying a Japanese spec wii at a lower price..(relations in japan)and a greater library of games to play,of course I'm gonna wanna play backups of pal games bought here in Australia, will it be as compatible as buying a Aussie pal wii chipped up vice versa ??? if you would go to the wiikey official site you would be able to see that but you wouldnt be able to see any feature for pal game support on ntsc region wii.. so id go for the pal wii considering this info.. but in regards to the games.. IMO there are more ntsc games made so by that id go for the japanese wii and also you can get a pal game and back it up into your hdd and patch it with regionfrii and burn it to a dvd-r preferably verbatim dvd-rs.. hope this helped
