I bought the Panasonic DMR-E85H two years ago & I put a dvd-r disc in (fujifilm to be exact) to record something. After the disc was filled it went to the usual blue writing & then the DVD Recorder went to "please wait" & the "self check" mode & then "L3" then "U99". The disc tray doesn't go down. I got my disc out by putting my hand in the opening. I think this was my fault because 75%-80% of the time I put a fujifilm disc in it goes to "please wait" & then the "self check" mode. Maxell & Memorex work GREAT that stuff never happens with them EVER it only happens with fujifilm. I kept on buying more fujifilms DVDs because i saved $2-$5 i think everytime. So stupid I am. After the 100 pack was finished(i only i had 4 left) I was never going to buy them again. I called Panasonic USA(because I bought this in the USA) & they told me to call Panasonic Canada. So when I called them they said it needs to be repaired. Thats fine I guess. My 3 year warranty is voild when i crossed the boarder I knew that. But I was wondering could i fix this on my own???????? I took the cover off. I also took some other stuff off from the disc tray(not sure what they are called) & i manually put the disc tray on the bottom. But when I power it up it still has the "u99" error on my screen. What can i do to get rid of it?????? I hope what I am saying makes sense. Thanks Jason
