    I only have two questions:

    1. Is there any way to over ride the copyright protection feature? I have some older VHS tapes I am trying to burn to the hard drive, but they are copyright protected.

    2. How difficult is it to install a larger Hard Drive? I heard that the software doesn't recognize anything over 120GB, like the old Windows OS.

    Thanks-Mike

On the Copy Protection issue there is already a thread on this, here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/337700.

AFAIK it is quite easy to install a new hard drive in the DMR-E85H, just be careful with the hard drive ribbon cable as it is quite thin. You are correct about the size issue, you can install a bigger drive but it will be formatted and recognised as a 120GB drive.

Thanks for the info. That will work well with the VCR.

Now what I need is to know if there is something inside the box I can alter, or a setting I can change in the software, that will allow me to burn DVDs onto the Hard Drive!

    Any Suggestions anybody?

    Thanks-Mike
