They are both priced at about 3 grand and I both look really great. I was wondering what people think is better and why. This would be mostly for regular TV watching and regular DVDs. I went down to Ken Crane's and the guy could not give me a clear answer. Neither has 1080p. Is there one that is obviously better? I've checked CNET and S&V magazine and they seem comparable. Any help much appreciated.

If both dont have 1080p leave it there at the store because you can get a Sony SXRD(50inch) for about 2500 & its a 1080p set. Also save you 500 dollars.Check out pricegrabber.com

sxrd is to big for my room. It has to be flat panel and less than 42".

the older sony sxrd are not TRUE 1080p, so in actualiy you wouldnt be saving any money if you went that route. it is 1080i upscaled to 1080p, but no direct inputs for 1080p if i am not mistaken.

in my S&V review for the PX60 (not PX600) it says that the Panasonic plasmas are not providing enough value to justify the high price tag, especially compared with all the plasmas under 42". The LCD is looking better and better. Plus I saw it at $2500 the other day ($500 off sale).
