Panasonic TCP50S2-plasma info needed

I have an opportunity for a great deal on this set but have absolutely no knowledge of plasma except what I heard years ago. I watch a fair bit of widescreen movies with letterboxing, (no games) and just wondered if burnin is still a problem in general with plasma or if any real time info on this set is available. I have read tons of reviews and looked at sets in stores but am still as confused as ever. Thanks
