Panasonic VDR-D310 Camcoder software

    Have recently purchased a Panasonic VDR-D310 DVD Camcorder, but unable to load software on my PC (Windows XP)which starts but then flags up a "runtime error" when trying to access menu - loads on other users of XP - can anyone help

    Sorry to sound a nogin, but how can I tell ? if SP1 & 2 relate to service packs 1&2 I think I have 2 but not sure

    Is there a way you can check to see if there is an update to the software?
