Just bought a cheap brick and wanted to try to unbrick it with this great utility.

    Recommendations:
If you are making the Pandora battery and mem stick using a good PSP with 3.40 oea, make sure you are running it in 1.50 mode (power up while holding right trigger down, got to configuration>Game folder homebrew, and set it to 1.50 Kernel). Otherwise, you won't be able to run the firmware installer or battery programmer. Once I did that, the battery programming was flawless.

My brick simply flashed the power led when it was switched. It could do nothing more than charge a battery.

When I put the reprogrammed mem stick and battery in, the power LED just flashed once a second. Nothing else worked. I thought it was a dud.

While I was writing for help here, I notice that the mem stick LED flashed once after about a minute, then again in another minute.

Then the brick came to life!

It made a full recovery. So be patient, look for answers on these boards before asking for help and enjoy all those resurrected PSP's!
