My uncle just purchased this and he needs to know how you go about using it, I know you cant back up any of your exisitng DVD's without shrinking them and using a DVD Burner on your comp. He needs to know if you hook it up through your existing DVD player and needs to know how to record TV shows, football games etc. Is it like a VCR that you can set the timer? He told me that the instructions didnt tell him anything and it is just sitting there. Thanks for your help.
My advice before he goes much further is to search on this forum his model# and anything that is quirky about his particular unit. You will learn more here than from their tech support.
