    i have transfered some video footage of my survaillance cam hard drive and it came in par files. when i tried to play them to check the footage i was unable to. how can i resolve this....... please help

    It's either Parchive or a proprietary format used by your Video cam vendor.

    Check with your video cam vendor fist.
