Partial subtitles to VOB?

    I have the VOB/IFO files for the film "We Were Soldiers"; at the beginning there is a brief section of French, I think there are usually English subtitles here automatcally but that theyve been removed. Can I add subtitles to just this section? (I have a .sub file for the whole film) Thanks

    edit- There are also several sections throughout the film with foreign audio (Vietnamese) and no subtitles.

    If you have the VOB files then you can reauthor a new DVD with any subtitles you want. You can create subtitles for the whole film or create subs to show up just for specific parts of the film. Use Subtitle Workshop to create an .srt subtitle file, then reauthor a new DVD (Muxman, IFOEdit) with that .srt file.
