ok first up i am getting a jtag 360 at the end of the month or sometime in april, im trying to get rdy for it in advance.
    I brought a 500gig external hdd

what i want to do is set it all up so that when i get the jtaged 360 its all ready to use and i will know the method by heart and can just play lol

    so heres the questions,

    1) is it right it has to be formated as fat32 or does it need to be a special format?
    2) i have a kron drive so whats the procedure of getting a game from disc to hdd and have it play on a jtaged 360?
    3) can i put dlc or arcade games on the usb hdd or do they have to go into the 00000000 folder of the main hd
4)if i had iso what steps do i take to remove the system update and put it on the hdd? is it just a case of extract iso with winrar delete system update folder, copy whats left to a folder on the hdd or more complicated?
    5) i heard there was an app that gets rid of junk files and thus reduces the amount of space games take up, is that true?

    also simi related question
    1) how do i remove the system update from my present hdd (dont want it overwritting my jtag xbr when i get it lol)

    Thanks in advance

proberly not but i couldnt find it when i searched, but from my questions you should see i did search around and couldnt find difenitive answers (the drive MUST be formated in fat32 , the drive MUST be formated using the 360, the drive needs to be partitioned with a seperate partition per game, the drive must only be one partition, thats just some of the stuff i read in the 2 hours of googling before posting here)

i know that content needs to go in a 0000000 folder but is that only for the main drive

i know that several apps can turn nxe installed game into god, games but they HAVE to be on the main hd

I know that theres an array of dash board replacements

i know that a system update can wipe xbr but to upgrade xbr i would need to rejtag (not good with the new dashboard on its way)

i know that i can right protect the xbr by removing a diode

i found lots of info but most conflicting so i came to a site i trust and posted, why the nasty response?

i tried searching for your user name and got millions of hits
so i went page by page till i found it (didnt help i missed it the first look through)

    for others its
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f...al_hard_drive_and_install_games_to_it-839613/

    so that means

    1) SOLVED fat32 using the app in the tutorial
    2) SOLVED i think, just back up the game as you would normaly but instead of burning the resulting file you treat it like the iso in the tutorial

    3) can i put dlc or arcade games on the usb hdd or do they have to go into the 00000000 folder of the main hd
    4) SOLVED the folder is simply deleted from the game folder
    5) i heard there was an app that gets rid of junk files and thus reduces the amount of space games take up, is that true?

    ***edit***

i found the garbage file remover that i had seen but im not sure its needed if the iso is extracted as in the tutorial

    x360Scrub v0.1b *update: v0.2b*

DLC needs to go in 00000000000000000000 folder (16 0's. not sure how many i put there). that scrubber will remove all the cut scenes as well..... as for me getting anything stickied, that will never happen, just like my 'how to make a 250 gig hard drive' one didnt as that is 'wrong' to do.

Greap, don't try getting too far involved with this until you get your console. Reading about these different programs and methods for moving, installing, etc. will make it seem quite complex to run a jtaged console.

When you actually get your hands on a console, you'll see just how easy everything is.

What you can do right now is get your 500 gig ready to go. You'll want Xbox Image Browser and Quickboot. Both are pc programs.

    - Xbox Image Browser - rips a 360 iso so it can be used on a usb drive

    - Quickboot - makes you games on your usb playable right from your Game Library on your 360 dash
