everyone hates bush because, not only is he a moron, but he's an aggressive moron. we can go around, "freeing" all the countries we want, but one must remember that they don't want us in the Middle East and that our intentions there aren't purely for humanity's sake. if so, then why aren't we freeing terrorized nations in africa? *cough cough oil cough cough* GWB is just flexing his political muscles, trying to give the presidency as much power as possible (irony: the next president, most likely a democrat and maybe hilary clinton, will be able to fix a lot of his mistakes with said new powers) bush's plans have ruined the economy, taken both the money and the few working strategies from public education, screwed up workman's laws, and fed a demon of civil oppression that may take decades to die. most of all, i hate bush for one reason: whenever Cheney takes a drink of water, bush stops speaking. *edit* the military thing annoys me as well, but you have to remember that the Vietnam war was a 10-year episode in American history that emphasizes how far we'll go and how much we'll lose to try to make a mistake seem like a good idea. the war affected everyone, and you can't just expect veterans of it to not talk about it at some points. it is a good source of anologies and something to remember. Most of the guys on the PT boats came back truly screwed up, either with tremors and shakes or other syndromes of prolonged stress over an extended period of time. many became suicidal, many homicidal. but kerry managed to stay relatively mentally intact, and that was a strong point for his campaign: strength and stability under fire. bush most certainly can't take much pressure, in my opinion.

rap4life, before it comes to anything serious, i should say this: it seems as though, in most threads we've both been on thus far, we've been on the opposite ends of the opinionated spectrum. i just want to say i'm not trying to start any arguments or wars with you; it's just that you seem a little naive (albeit i bet i seem a little...paranoid). you have to remember that you can't trust the news media or government anymore, if you ever could. people in power and on top want to stay that way, and they attempt to brainwash the masses to do it. in many (or most) cases, they have succeeded. everyone talks about crooked politicians and such, but in the end, most people still trust them to do the right thing. this is a mistake. just as mega-corporations want us to give them all our money without having any services performed, the government wants us to serve them without question. when no one questions the truth, demands sources cited, refuses to be skeptical enough to overcome lies, that's when we are totally and utterly fucked. is it a coincidence that two books not allowed in a growing number of schools are the Holy Bible and 1984? you really should read 1984, rap4life, or anyone else who reads this thread. you'll get scared..and at this point, that's a good thing.

Cheney is VP and is bush most trusted person in meetings, Bush saw the same pics as every in the senite but before this bush had a meeting which every agree with bush expt. collin powell's wanted more time to prove that they were weapens of mass des. but cheney saw money is the pics, and when bush ask him he said war.
cheney... i forget what they're called, but sometimes you see these guys with a monkey on a leash and they walk around, playing a music box...(bad description, i know). but basically, cheney's the chain-smoking clown there and bush is the monkey on a leash. with an IQ of 98, it's about right. he's nothing compared to George Washington (130-something) or JFK (177). but what can you expect? he's your typical kid trying to out-do daddy. bush v.1 was soo much better.

for the war, i don't get my info from the news; i talk to a few guys over there every now and then on IRC. kings, communists, and terrorists--we've fought them all, and for the most part, we've lost, and not too long afterwards, the forces fell for their own reasons. personally, i wish we'd go back to our foreign policies of the pre-WWI day and fix our own country's issues before we try to solve everyone else's...but then again, oooiillll lol. oh canada, oh canada--no one bombs you cuz you're nice...
