I am a bit confused by the possibilities for playing homebrew stuff on the DS - after searching a bit on this forum, I believe I need a passdevice, an adapter and a SD media cart, right? But can the adapter and media cart be replaced by a GBA Flashcart? I'm asking because I already have a EZ Flash II PS (512), and if I could use that in combination with a pass device I could save money... which would be good.^^ So, is there a pass device compatible with that flashcart? All the pass devices I found just said they were compatible with EZ IV, G6 and M3, and the EZFlash webpage is both chinese and down at the moment.
http://ezflash.sosuke.com/ -> Semi unofficial EZFlash forum http://www.sosuke.com/ezflash/wiki/index.php/EZFlash_II_FAQ From the looks of it, you should be able to play DS games on it. An EZPass3 should work fine with it. Oh, and for future reference, don't bother with the official EZFlash website. Just go to the forum I linked to. Also, you may still want to get a larger cart later on once prices go down since the EZ Flash II may only have the ability to run 256Mb games. As it was designed for use with GBA, the largest GB game is 256Mb, and the EZ Flash II might only have that much memory. This still applies to the 512Mb you have since even the EZFlashIII 4Gb can only run 256Mb games. All depends on the hardware configuration.
You're welcome. I use an EZIV myself, so I know how you feel about not being able to find much info on EZFlash hardware. Pretty much any info you could possible need can be found on that forum and wiki, so have fun playing DS games
