Is it possible to put a p/w on a folder rather than each file inside? I've got an external HD that I share with everyone in my house and it's got some confidential work stuff on it that I don't want anyone having access too. There are a lot of files so it'd be a pain to p/w them individually.

So can you p/w a folder?

    Not sure...........
If not, there may be an option. I don't know much about this, but I THINK there's a way to make folders invisible. Do a Google search, or check at Microsoft's site, about making folders invisible. If nothing is on their site, send them an email.
I would think an invisible folder would be as good as using a password?
    Good luck!
