pasting two .wav's back together

    i had two live tunes that needed cutting,one led into the second.. i cut them to fit together better. now, i need to put them back together to hear how it sounds, so i can hear how the splice did... how do i put them together and what free program does that?

    fully functional 30days trial:
    Adobe Audition (formerly CoolEditPro)

    Should be quite easy to find out how to do it with this software. With CoolEdit (can't tell about the others) you can apply a crossfade when joining for a smooth boundary.
