I know that there are plenty of default.xbe patching tools around for XBOX games. However, I was wondering if anyone knew what exactly to look for in the default.xbe file that needs to be patched?
Use a hex edititng tool to search the xbe for this string.. 74 4B E8 CA FD FF FF 85 C0 7D 06 33 C0 50 50 EB 44 F6 05 change to 74 4B E8 CA FD FF FF 85 C0 EB 06 33 C0 50 50 EB 44 F6 05 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ newer games have shorter strings; E8 CA FD FF FF 85 C0 7D change to E8 CA FD FF FF 85 C0 EB ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Not my information, was taken from xbox-scene.com
I tried searching for those hex strings, but neither the original default.xbe files do NOT have any of those hex values to begin with.
