Patching Games To Work With Wave 3 And Soon Wave 4. Ban? Or No Ban?

    Ok first off i know this question has been asked many times before and the answer like i tell everyone i know is the same "If you patch the games you will be able to get detected or it puts up a ban flag blah blah blah. This Makes A lot of sense to me

    But I have a brother in law that i modded his console 8 months ago that i am not really on speaking terms with anymore. i used to get him his backups and now he goes to some china strip mall. he has not done a firmware update ("says my other brothers in law") so i would assume he is getting a guy who sells his games to him patched to work with ixtreme 1.5. Now he plays his games online all the time with thease patched games and has never got banned. so it really makes me wonder if it sets out any flags at all what do you guys think hopefully his ass gets banned when he tries to patch wave 4 lol

    Chances are his Wave 4 games won't boot at all with the old firmware (depending on his drive) without the Activate.ISO disc.

    ya well at the moment hes making me look like the fool telling everyone that they dont have to upgrade and hes living proof i know he will get banned i just cant wait till his dumb ass does

    ok well i happened to get a hold of one of the discs that he bought from the flee market (FIFA 10). it wont work with my ixtreme 1.6 liteon and xbox backup creator will not start ripping it. so its safe to say that this disc has been heavily patched. Now Assuming that all the discs he has bought are from the same guy and done in the same way. How the *bleep* did he not get hit with the ban hammer. I was so sure that patching thease games would get hin detected but he has survived.

    Well I have version 1.51 and have not updated yet and most likely will not, as long as the patching of wave 4 iso's continue to work. I have patched MW2, Tekken 6 finally GTA LS...... I dont understand wh everyone keeps saying you cant play wave 4 on 1.51 when you can simply patch the wave 4 iso and play as normal......Ohhh my Xobx 360 modded is banned already but I have 2 360's and share the same hard drive....Un-modded system still green on Xbox live...
