    Sup guys,

So i managed to stick with my Gigabytye UD3P motherboard.

The issue here is that, my ram does not perform at its listed speed - Partriot Viper Series pc2-8500 1600 4 gb (dual channel) 5-5-5-15

In the bios setup, it is listed that i can perform at 1066, But, the option to select the speed doesn't go up to that speed UNLESS i increase the cpu multiplier - Im running a P4 3.2 ghz presscot core.

Could the issue be that im running a single core proc?

CPU-Z lists the ram as max bandwidth 6400 ( 400 mhz)

Why cant i get the ram to run at 1066, with the correct timings? 5-5-5-15

Sorry, let me rephrase my question:

Could someone please list the settings required to achieve pc-8500 @ 5-5-5-15 for the Gigabyte UD3P?

I've been having difficulties trying to attain such specifications.

CPU-Z keeps listing the ram at 6400(400 mhz)

Why do you want such fast memory with such an old and slow CPU? I wouldn't be surprised if there's some limitation with CPUs that old.

I should hope so - see what happens when it arrives.
