Ok, i really wanna get setup on PayPal and buy and sell on eBay. I get the little sums of money from PayPal to verfiy my bank account, ok, they accepted it as it was correct. Now i have to verify my account. ok i will, i say to myself, and whats this, I have to have a credit card? Is there a way to have PayPal and all its features without haveing a credit card? Or should i wait for Googles eBay killer to come out, and help those who dont have credit cards?

You can use paypal without a credit card. However, money transfers take 3-5 days I believe. I suggest inputting your debit card as a credit card (it will accept it, as long as it is like a Visa Check Card), to facilitate faster transactions, which leads to happier E-Bay sellers and better feedback.

On your paypal account page, just set your checking account as your chosen methood of payment and establish it as the "primary" account, thereby making it your "verified" account.

I used to use paypal when I ran an online store. I hate them. As a seller you have no protection, but buyers can lie and get their money back.

I sold high end speaker equipment and speaker sets online for a while and I had some guy buy 2 12 inch high end subwoofers from me at about $1000 shipped ($449 per driver and each weighs 52 pounds). I sent them out and got a notice from Paypal that he never got them, and they took the money back. He claimed he never got them and UPS just left them on his porch. UPS told me to get lost, and paypal took my money. 2 weeks later he was on a forum I used to frequent asking about what enclosure he should use for his subwoofers... Subwoofers that were backordered all the way to the mfg. When I confronted him he left the forum, and changed all his contact info so contact was useless.

    Buyer be comfortable, seller beware!!!
