Hi! I need a PC advice, lets say i have a choice between this two builds:

    INTEL CORE 2 QUAD 6600 S775, boxed
    Asus P5K
    RAM DDR2 800 4Gt (4x1024Mt) max 8Gt
    nVIDIA 8800 GTS 320MB DDR3 PCI Express
Antec SOLO black + AKASA PAX POWER 500W
    2 x 74Gt 10000RPM RAID STRIPE (2x74Gt Raid) for OS
    Samsung T166 500Gt sata2 7200RPM
Samsung DVD-/+RW Dual Layer 20x SATA
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit

    or

    INTEL CORE 2 QUAD 6600 S775, boxed
    Asus P5K
    RAM DDR2 800 4Gt (4x1024Mt) max 8Gt
    Radeon HD2900XT PCI-E 512 Mt
    Antec P182 ATX black + 650W Chieftec
    Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 500GB SATA 16MB
Samsung DVD-/+RW Dual Layer 20x SATA
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit

So which one would u suggest?

Main quesiton here is one build has RAID hard drive for Operating System but has a bit worse 3D card.

    Thx in advance!

i'd go with the one that has a better gpu cuz its more expensive to upgrade the gpu than to get a second HDD. also RAID isn't really that important. oh sure its conveniant but i wouldn't call it vital, especially with a 500gb HDD.

agreed, the second one I think is your best choice. The 2900XT is better than the 640mb version of the 8800GTS, let alone the 320mb version. The second choice is the way to go.

One other thing, if you can, go with the 32bit vista, its much more stable than the 64bit, and the 64bit is still having driver issues with video cards as well.

The second one, but I'm not confident about the power supply. HD2900XTs consume a lot of power, and I don't know how good Chieftec PSUs are.
