What is the best tool to backup my things on my pc? I am updateing my pc from Windows XP home SP1 to Windows XP Pro SP3. and i need to know what the best tool to backup the stuff on my PC to a file that is easily opened to where i dont what to do a bunch of stuff to get my files back after i update my OS...thanks for all the help... If you are referring to My Documents such as music, pictures, videos, and other personal folders just burn to CD or DVD and copy back from disc when you're finished updating. Nero does a very nice job.
