Ok well I have $350 AUD to spend on upgrades on my computer..
    my current specs are:
    Intel Pentium 4 2.6HT
    ATI Rad 9600SE 128mb
    1024mb generic DDR RAM
    160gig IDE 2mb cache HDD
    ect..

I already have a PCI-E 6600GT that i will use in it so for now, i just need a new mobo and cpu.
I was thinking about getting this mobo:
    http://gamedude.com.au/prod_show.php?art_no=mbAS775dual_880pro
(supports both ddr and ddr2, as well as AGP and pci-e)
    with this CPU:

Now i know Intels are not as good as AMD's (for gaming, thats pretty much all i do on my computer) and Celerons are even worse intels :p
But im just thinking about performance for price range AND upgradability.

Now i have a few questions..
    1. how much better perfomance will i get out of the 3.2 celeron compared to my 2.6 p4?
    2. with that mobo is it possable to use both ddr and ddr2 at the same time or only 1 of the kind?
    3. Ive got a 6600GT PCI-E GPU at home but i only have a 350 watt PSU .. will that be enough ?
    4. What is the fastest Intel CPU that motherboard will support?

1.Don't even joke about that stuff man. Celeron= -150% performance increase. I can tell you from experience.
2.Nope, either DDR or DDR2. 2GB is plenty tho(too much I would say)
3.350 Watts is the minimum anyone should have. I'd look into buying a more powerful power supply.
4.A pretty damn fast one(1066FSB!!!). Pentium D dual core extreme edition(more cpu cache, better for games)with HT. Dude...thats like heaven...on a bun.
