I wanted to lower the noise level of my PC. Would I get the same performance out of smaller and slower fans as I do out of my large and fast fans. Obviously with smaller fans I would use more of them.

The question is, would I get the same air flow for the lower noise level. I'm running very cool as it is so I can afford slight decreases in efficiency.

    Thanks in advance.

Large Fans= More air moved for the same amount of noise or inversely less noise for the same amount of CFM.

120mm and 140mm are optimal. 200+ sized fans can be difficult to get very quiet without hopelessly slow speeds.
