Newbie here please bear with me I have bought a NEW PC 512MB RAM, 80G HDD,Windows XP, LG GSA-4081B DVD Drive. I'm having troulbe backing up my DVDs I'm using DVD decryptor DVDshrink and Nero6. Using decryptor is fine but when i try to use Shrink or Nero my PC crashes during burning or analyzing. I have defraged pc, 80% of hard drive is available. does anyone have any idea why it's crashing? Thanx.
ozub, There's no reason use Decrypter when you have DVD Shrink. There's even a chance that by using Decrypter, then Shrink you can cause yourself problems by giving your files an extra place to corrupt a file. You should use DVD Decrypter for a backup only should you fail to rip with DVD Shrink. Have recently been informed by the resident genius drchips that there are some DVD's that should you use Decrypter first you won't get a successful burn ! Pete
