    Hi to all again
yes i need your assistance again

My youngest has been switching the pc on and off quickly
yes you guessed it( its not working)
I have managed to part re install windows
After i had pulled the battery out
now i have no boot drivers
the pc wont recognise the floppy A drive

the pc works ok in safe mode
    windows is there

    but when i reboot normally
it doesnt do much at all
I think the problem may be drivers, but not really sure

Wait, so you completely (or partly as I read) reinstalled windows, but somehow can still get into safemode?

Well, the only thing I guess you can try is to reinstall windows... Do you have a disk drive that works instead of a floppy?

    Reinstalled windows xp
    only works in safe mode
    disc drive works ok
    does not recognise floppy A
its as tho the pc doesnt know what to do next
its the drivers missing but what?
how do you install bios drivers?
    are there such a thing?

All this Since I took the battery out and reintsalled windows

Well yes all the drivers will be missing since you reinstalled xp, but if you have a dell, compaq, IBm etc, the then you should be able to search around in their site for the drivers that you need.
