wel yeh it is cos the psp was one of the first gaes consoles to actually have media on and a usb remember them days
You guys who are trying to defend your pc's need to be a little more logical about this. You want to compare your top end pc, which is what, like $3000, to a $400 console. Let's be a little more realistic... why don't you compare a $400 pc to a $400 console? Or better yet, how about this... you can keep your $3000 pc. And let's pretend that MS's gaming division had the go-ahead to develop a $3000 console. With them being able to spend that much more on the console, do you really think that it'd still be inferior to your pc? I HIGHLY doubt it.
you people saying that say a pc cant handle a 360 game are stupid. first of all the computers you compare the 360 to are not top of the line any more its like comparing the 360 to the original xbox
you dont get it. a computer could handle a 360 game that has been ported and it could look better than the 360. but to emulate the game. you usualy need a machine 10 times more powerfull the what you are trying to emulate. everyone needs to forget about a 360 emulator. there isnt even and xbox 1 emulator working on pc right now. and ps2 emulators barely work.
apparently you cant read. no one said a pc cant handle a 360 game. but a 360 isnt built like a computer. at all. no matter what you have in your computer, you cant run a 360 game. i can guarantee you that you cant. if its so easy to do and all you people have such wonderful computers, why havent we had a working 360 emulator yet? how come no one is working on it? people that actually know how emulation works on a console know that you cant emulate something unless your using a machine that is MUCH stronger than what your emulating. if you think you can prove us all wrong, then by all means dump a crap load of money into a computer and see if it can run a 360 game.
GPu in the 360 is roughly equivalent to an ATI x1950xt with a low end duo core 2 PC-wise...which of course doesn't mean much since the RROD kills the 360 for 3-4 weeks while you wait for a return. If your video card on the pc is dead however..turnaround time for an advanced warranty replacement is just a few days with a credit card (same with western digital hard drives). Can't even imagine how behind the times an xbox360 will be in 2009 when direct X 10 games start popping up left and right. Emulation will require a pc cpu roughly ten times as powerful as the emulated cpu (so say the Mame team). On the other hand, miracles sometimes happen..just look how fast nullDC is in running dreamcast games on a 2.5ghz cpu. Its all in how good the programmers are at optimizing the code.
a tricked out pc can piss all over the 360 but the reason alot of people rather have the 360 is because if your a pc ga,er you have to upgrade your components and parts every 2 years or so (new graphoc card, more ram, ect.)
wrong, again. your pc cant outperform your xbox 360. your xbox 360 is a custom built gaming machine, thats all it does. it doesnt have to go online and view web pages and it doesnt have to do a lot of things a computer does. it simply runs hi res games.
YOu make a very good point concerning the price but we are meerly disscussing the preformance and a tricked out pc pisses on the 360. The pc can outpreform the 360 it will only be more expensive.
