Hi, ive a PC which will freeze each time I want to play a game like couter strike and others. This also happened when i want to rip a music(from cd to HD)and sometimes when doing another things. The screen will remain freeze and i have to restart the PC by pressing the power button on the casing. Any ideas would be apreciated!!! Pentium 4, 256mb RAM, 40Gb HD, MX440 64mb Video Card.
wat r IRQ settings?I don't think its software conflict issues coz i have even format the HD. hmmm. Im usin WINDOWS XP Pro SP2. Even when it was with WINDOWS 98, there was that problem.
Verify in your bios that your video uses an IRQ interrupt and see what happens, especially since you had this problem even before XP sp2.
