hey guys i was wondering to backup pc games is it the same method as doing it for a ps2 dvd game? if so is it the small file (mds file) or is it the big file (iso file) that you stick onto a disk? thnks
You should be able to do a 1:1 copy of a PC game. I'd rip the game with DVD Decrypter and then just burn the ISO to the new DVD. You might need some type of no-cd patch to get the game to load, but its doubtful. PC games are extremely easy. The mds file tells the burning program where the iso is located. Use either DVD Decrypter or Alcohol 120% and you should have no problem putting that image onto a DVD.
PC games usually check to see that the original installation CD is in the drive. So, you can install your backup just fine, but when you try to play it, you're asked for the original CD. A no-cd patch turns this function off so you can just run your backup and play.
cheers dude tht is preety simple to understand but were can i get one of those? im prety new to this if u havnty already quessed
