Graphics Card!! But CPU and RAM also help if they are not very good.

dsgtrain is right but just to add the order of importance for computer parts to play games.

    Order of Importance
    1st: Graphic/Video Card
    2nd: RAM
    3rd: CPU

    P.S.
A cheap gaming rig would consist of the following parts (or so) (oooooo...big words!):

    -2.0 Ghz CPU
    -512 MB RAM
-128 MB Graphics Card (make sure it is PCI Express because they are better and cheaper! (I am saying this in case you haven't bought the mo-bo yet))
    -40 GB PATA HDD

If you want to enjoy gaming as inexpensively as possible this will/should be your minimum specs.

upgrade the hdd to a sata drive they cost about the same and you get much better performance.

Do you mind sharing your specs with us? We can advise you what to buy to get the best performance for your money, but we need to know what you have first.

Hey I use an Audigy SE, don't knock it. The drivers aren't wonderful, but they have lots of features. What do you want to ask?

Sound cards all affect frame rate similarly really, bar the X-Fis, but they have even more of the problems that Audigy 4s exhibit, for a start they're not 100% compatible with nForce 4 chipsets (that's actually nVidia's fault not Creative, but interesting nonetheless). RAM looks good.

I can't say I've used FF with dialup, but when my connection slows down, big download, or p2p app or whatever, firefox finds it difficult to get sites, whereas ie isn't bothered. For someone on dial-up I can only imagine what firefox must be like trying to use. Really there's little difference in the Sound Blasters for gaming performance unless you have an X-FI with the high cost and compatibility issues mentioned before. In all honesty, when the driver is installed right, the sound quality from an Audigy 4 SE (I got mine for £17) is excellent, and assuming you don't have 7.1 speakers, you can still use 5.1 mode and have a microphone plugged in at the same time.
As for the question about DVD players in your sig, there is software available for PCs I think that does that, but it's not easy to get hold of because it's not legal!

meh I can look up reviews and see if I can find soemthign I mena its rather simple Menu is click fora set amount of tiem you can change then play is clicked on for a set amount of time all of this is done when a DVD loads up no fuss no muss no "hard" skipping thats illeagle *L*

oh well I have could have sworen 5 or 7 years ago soemone would make a Satlite TV to cable TV BOx the design is simple it uses the card and soem clone hardwared of the sat TV you stick the card in and it will use soemthing like the sat box program to setup the box the serive and then put all the channles up to 200 or so into a signal that can be read on any Cable ready TV so you dont have to have a extra box for each fing TV...did anyone ever make one...no...>>

Well, I personally would never rely on open box stuff, it's a breeding ground for issues, RAM is especially important to get right. After the rebate it's only THREE dollars more than the Open box stuff, surely you can manage that?
