The wierdest thing has started happening with my pc. If I use DvdShrink to make a dvd and then reboot, my pc will hang during the reboot forever. I then gotta hit reset and choose "last working config" for my pc to boot up. "start windows normally" gives me the same hang. after that everything is normal again until I use DvdShrink. i don't even use shrink anymore but I decided to use it today and not it's bugging me cuz something is not right with my pc. any ideas anyone?
Boot into "Safe Mode" then run your virus scanner. Also run any spyware programs you may have while in "Safe Mode". Rebbot normally when done. Then try DVDShrink again.
I just ran clonedvd and the same thing happened. this sux. i did a defrag and it didn't help. i haven't tried the safe mode scans yet.
everything seems ok now. even got my usb ports on my lcd working. i used the dell driver disc that came with it in the intial install and it rendered the ports useless. this time I downloaded them off the net and now they work.
