Hey everyone. I remember playing hitman codename 47 back in 2000, but didn't play much of it, and want to actually get back into the series and complete them all.

I'm ust wondering if Codename 47 plays the same way as the 3 Hitman games released after this one. Is it worth playing?

I read somewhere that Codename 47 really isn't part of the trilogy because it doesn't have the same mechanics and that I wouldn't really be missing much.

    Could anyone please comment? :)

    Thanks!!

Silent Assassin is sorta similar to Codename 47 IMO, but Contracts and Blood Money (Especially with BM's new camera.) play a little different.

It's worth picking up anyways. Contracts is just a better remake of Codename 47.

idk if you're interested but Gametap's ad supported service lets you play most of the hitman games for free... You just have to watch a 30 second ad before each play session.

Beats paying for / pirating the games.
