pc to ps2 connection

    is there anyway to connect the playstaion hard drive to my pc without opening my pc? thankyou in adavance if there is another way could you please tell me this has been getting on my nerves for the past few days

    Did you use WinHIIP? Windows and Mac cannot recognize the hard drive after its been formatted by HDLoader.

    You can also connect to the hard drive via network (i.e. execftp, hdl_dump).

    I have conected my PS2 HD (samsung) using IDE USB adapter (bought on Ebay) and WinHIIP and it works fine. On HD is HDLoader.
    Make sure computer installs new hardware properly and it should if U R using XP or 2000. Than in WinHIIP choose your drive and there you go.. you should be able to see a list of games.

    I am useing both hd dump and WinHIIP and my hard drive is not being reconized

    Do you have any problems with PS2, is the HD working good in PS2?
    Did you try connecting some other HD through USB to check if the connection is good and working?
    Usually when you plug the HD in to USB you can see little window in the right corner of your screen (in Win XP) if the connection is good and drivers installed, it will say something like >>new hardware found and /or mass storage USB device, drivers installed , now U can use it << that should mean HD is recognized and working well.
    In WinHIIP you have to choose your PS2 HD.
    You should try to write what steps did you make so it will be easier to find what is wrong.

    I plug in the hard drive it is not reconized I put in on win hdl and it does not reconise it I am trying everything and its not working
