Well i want to upgrade my pc, i.e. Change case , Buy new MB etc , but i want to discuss with other members of afterdawn about any experience or guidance they could help me with. Thanx {Shoo}
I dont no excactly where this should go but, if u dont no, then put it under the All Other Topics forum.
Your post should be in -- Other PC hardware -- just click Report an offensive post on your own post and ask politely that a moderator moves you !
and by the way the moderator ddp he's like the computer hardware master around here so he should be helpful. but go ahead list what's are something you're planning to buy and ur budget
Well heres the deal , I modded my xbox (Externally) and loved it , So i know the basics of what to expect in the interior of a PC , Because a xbox is basically a PC , And + i have added RAM to my machine , so im ok with that. But i want to go further then that now , I want a total uprgade of HW and a new case etc. So just some general questions that have been chopping away at my brain. Is there any point changing MB ? Does the case i buy need to be compatable with the current MB so it fits ? Does the MB come with a CPU ? Intel , AMD etc , and what ones are best to get ! Thankyou I look forward to starting
what do you have now so can tell you what to keep or replace. i presume this is for gaming? what is your approximate budget?
Ok well i only play WoW so im not really a hardcore gamer , but im impatient when things dont load lol and plus i want my mates to come round and say woah your pc is wicked etc etc and so i can look at and be happy. Current system ¬ Computer brand name : MedionPC CPU : Intel Pentium 4 - 2200 @ 2200.1 MHz RAM : 768 DDR PC2100 MB : MSI MS-6507 MB Chipset : Intel 845d/MP(Brookdale) Umm well the budget is every payday i suppose , but not much comes in on that pay day lol
Depends on where you are at and how much you want to spend. Putting the hardware together is usually the easy part if you have proper instructions. Installing all the software, getting everything to work together, and lining up the right deal is the hard part.
