Hi Everyone! I'm new to this...it's my first time..so forgive my stupidity! I'm on a notebook so I'm using a USB to SATA cable hooking to my 360, but it doesn't recognize it. It says it's a USB to ATA/ATAPI bridge -Manufacturer: Unavailable -Model Number: Unavailable -Categories: Storage Device It says its a "(Standard disk drive)". It said the device was not working (Code 10) but now it says it's working fine. I put the SLAX cd into the Hitachi drive and tried to boot from it but I doubted that it would work because its not recognized as the drive that it is. Does anybody know how to fix this? All help is greatly appreciated! And thanks!
Sounds like your laptop doesn't have the proper VIA chipset to read and flash the drive. If you have a desktop I suggest this card.
