I am looking to get an entry level device that will allow me to attach a TV aerial(for watching tv on my pc monitor) and also allow me attach an analog camcorder(S-Video/Composite/Audio outputs) so I can capture some video for processing into home movie type projects. I have the software its the hardware I'm not sure about. I know its probably a PCI card I need but would appericate some advice on what hardware exactly I could have a look at.

Simplest way is to use a Pinnacle USB tv. Just plug it into a USB 2 port and away you go, it also has inputs for camcorder, vcr etc..., its cheap and works okay.
