    @Glitched

    When you ran the inital setup of Peer Gurdian... What did u check like did u leave everything as defualt or did u customize it?? If so what are your current settings.

    Have u got it enabled also... If you are still having problems try re-installing...

    keep me posted...

    Hey All,
    PeerGuardian is good software but try ProtoWall at

    @mattn1979

    Whay do u mean how much does it block???

    When it comes to education and govt sites it blocks everythin mostly till u config it otherwise.

    And the rest it just makes the ads disappear and it bolcks ur ip address from others when using P2P software.

    Thats as far as i know...

    Thanks for the tip,
    Is there another good blocker or a progrem out there that will help you with P2P protection. I have got PG and Protowall!

    Thank God for Peer Guardian. I minimized it to my systems tray while I was downloading last night. It started flashing off and on so I opened it up and saw the culprit site that I blocked which was flaged in dark blue. PG seems to work well for me.

    The only Draw back is that PG only has so many IP's stored. A site/company can change their IP or use a different one very easly.
