People please help I am lost

    I have a Sony DCR-TRV22. I would like to transfer my VHS tape to my Camcorder on the
    mini DV. I am trying to avoid going to through my computer. i want them on the mini DV
    first than transfer to computer. What is my best option. Can the TRV-22 do this. Please
    help. I have a iMac computer.

    Look in your Camcorders Manual and Look to see if your Camcorder has an "Analogue Pass-Through" feature...If it does have this Feature then you should be able to connect your VCR to your Camcorder and connect your Camcorder to your PC Via Firewire and then be able to Directly transfer the Video from the VCR to your PC without haveing to record it to DV Tape First....
