I have recently been using WinAvi to convert .avi files to DVD format to burn to disk. The lates video I did was Advent Children and it burned good but it would loop a couple of times during the movie and I had to FF to get back to where I was. I am burning with Nero. Any idea as to why this is happening?
Did you check the AVI source? If not that, then it's probably a bad conversion. Check the source files and then the DVD files on the PC before burning. It'll save you some time and wasted discs along the way.
Here goes a picture of the files, maybe I should delete something that may be unnecessary in the pic below? http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/336418
You're not supposed to have multiple threads open on the same problem. To check, you get a player software to view the files. For DVDs and DVD files, I use WinDVD 7. PowerDVD is another good option, there's more around. Just check around for a good AVI player. Here's the link to players here at AD. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_players/ The BSPlayer is said to be good with AVI files.
