People Who Get Sued......where does the money go?

Hi people ive just been reading about the raids and about people getting letters through the post.

One lady in england has to pay £2500 by tommorow or face civil action. If she pays it where does that money go?

Is it back to the company/s she dloaded from or do the RIAA get it?

I wouldent be suprised if this money went to making rich people richer.

And before people say they deserve it , that lady looked a bit poor on her picture , so what if her daughter downloaded an album so she dident feel left out with her other school freinds.

Any ways where does all the money go that people pay in fines?
