PES 2008 Discussion

It was meant to arrive on friday but i recieved it this morning, did Game make a mistake or something, the menu and music has changed alot and the game play flows much easier, its a great game just waiting for option file

 

I hope its alot better than it is on the ps2, iv got it for ps2 and its just the same as the previous pro, but thats probably because theyve gave up on ps2 titles and just noit made any effort lol =)

 

If you already have it then that should mean most shops have it in stock but can't sell it until friday. I'll try and persuade the shop I ordered it from to let me have it early! what's it like are there any new teams added?

 

Lol my other friends havent recieved it, and they all have xbox haha. Apparently stores have the game a week before release. Its a really good game it will be even better when the option file is released, online is addictive but hard, i came back from 2-0 down to 2-2 in the 85min then i lose in stoppage time . They teams are mostly the same, the ones they have added i cant understand due to the fake names lol.

 

how can you play someone online if your one lucky ones to recieve it early... are you playing the japanese?

 

Maybe the people who work in game etc got it early too lol

 

So has anyone else got it?
What i like about it is the more easy flowing game play, better graphics, less mistakes from teammates and more realistic football especially shooting.
The Cons of PES 2008 is the lack of stadiums (15 and NO english stadiums) and freekicks and corners you have to wait for the referee to raise his arm slowly and blow the whistle while the opposition mark only player you can pass the ball to!
I dont think the option file can be used online (kits and stadiums etc) which is annoying.

 

yeah I got it yesterday and was wondering since I haven't ever played online just how to set it all up.

 

ok, go to network, then when you get the login screen, go to enter key and passwork, you should go to a pes site on the internet enter the key on the back of your game manual and choose a password, then back to the login screnn go to connect to lobby, enter key and password. After that make your pes id account then off you go!

This game is simply amazing lol, i cant wait till work begins on a proper option file, by someone who knows what there doing =)

 

i have pro evo i find there is a bit of lag but i suppose they will fix this in time hopefully

 

Yeah the frame rate, i played it on xbox and it has no lag! WTF.
Do you experience the lag online or on normal exibition mode?
They sent a message to everyone saying they will fix it for online so its all good

 

Has anyone tried diving on it i dont even kno how to do it?

 

if ur playing on ps3,u press r1-l1 and l2 all together iv only done 1 successful dive its pretty hard

 

does any1 find the replays a bit juddery? Is that what you mean by frame rate? cos it kills my eyes! And mines crashed twice!

 

yh the replays do jitter abit try deleting ur messages or stop people messagin u durin the game then it should work freely

 

the frame rate is wrong ye, this sint due to the network or anything its actualy a problem with the game, they said they are going to realse a patch for it soon tho, cant belive they released it with that shocking frame rate,

sometimes on replays its baddddd

 

tis possibly the most annoying thing ever. the lag is almost unbearable.

The game is fucked and i am soooo pissed off!!!

 

its a very good game but i think it should be tried and polished properly making sure all the functions work perfectly on it because the lag online is bad, this is game we all wait for so it should be delivered at a high standard, but i think konami will fix the probelem hopefuly quickly
