Philips 724AT plays DVD+R, DVD+RW flawlessly

    If anyone is looking for a DVD+R and DVD+RW, this is the way to go. Especially for the price. The Philips DVD 724AT is a progressive scan player that plays DVD+R and DVD+RW with out a hitch. There are no audio sync issues whatsoever. Fast forward, rewind, pause, and slow all work perfectly. For $112 you can't go wrong with this player.

    I just purchased this unit (724AT) and dvd+r/+rw is not listed so is it safe to say that your statement about it being dvd+r/+rw compatible is true? Thanks

    I have the same player. Yes, it plays DVD+R/RW without a hitch.
