Philips PCRW1208

    MY OS: WinXP

    I cant read any CDs with this recorder Philips PCRW1208 in WinXP. I can see in the device manager that the drive is found. I have even updated the firmware to ver 4.0 but the problem reains.

    Anuone has the driver for this recorder for winXP?

    Plz help me!

    Does it say in the device manager (dvd\cd-rom) "this decive is working properly"?

    Yes, it's even say that the device is working properly.

    Can it be something with the Bios?

    Check to see if your ide cable(s) have come loose and be sure your jumper settings are correct.
